Call to Order:          

 

The President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and followed with the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Board Actions:

 

Approved:  On Motion by Jules Comeau, seconded by Michelle Hamdan, with all in favor, the Tax Warrant for school year 2005-2006.

 

Census:  Kevin Crampton handed out the anticipated registration for the upcoming school year.  64 students listed, with an anticipated 7 more to register.  No tuition will be charged to the 3 students from the Miller family from Tupper Lake as they own property in Long Lake.

 

Motion to go into Executive session by Hallie Bond, seconded by Vickie Plumley, with all in favor at 7:40 p.m.  Items to be discussed:  personnel issues.

 

Motion to come out of Executive session by Hallie Bond, seconded by Vickie Plumley, with all in favor at 8:40 p.m.

 

Accepted:  On Motion by Jules Comeau, seconded by Michelle Hamdan, with all in favor, the resignation of Thomas Gegenheimer as a permanent substitute, effective August 9, 2005, with regrets.

 

Accepted:  On Motion by Vickie Plumley, seconded by Hallie Bond, with all in favor, the resignation of Michael Valovic as Technology Teacher effective September 1, 2005, with regrets.

 

Appointed:  On Motion by Hallie Bond, seconded by Michelle Hamdan, with all in favor, Duane Finch as Technology Teacher, Masters Schedule Step 11, 2 year probationary period effective September 1, 2005.

 

Appointed:  On Motion by Hallie Bond, seconded by Vickie Plumley, with all in favor, Tina Thompson Pine as the 5th grade teacher, Masters Schedule Step 1, 3 year probationary period effective September 1, 2005.

 

Adjournment:  On Motion by Jules Comeau, seconded by Vickie Plumley, with all in favor, the Board adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
