Mr. Pine has been teaching Social Studies in Long Lake since 2002. Previous to working at LLCS, he worked with young people for many years. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from St. Bonaventure University and a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Special Education from the College of St Rose. Mr. Pine holds a New York State teacher certification in Secondary Social Studies and Special Education. In addition to sharing his love of history with his students, he also is the LLCS Student Council advisor. On most winter weekends and holidays he can be found at Gore Mountain were he works as a ski/snowboard instructor. Mr. Pine enjoys skiing, riding, snowshoeing, sailing and playing basketball and hockey, but most of all he enjoys being with his family. |
