Evaluation Plan

The focus of this plan is to teach students the skills to be computer proficient in a competitive global marketplace and to provide technological opportunities to all members of the school that will enable them to be life long learners. An ongoing process utilizing a technology evaluation rubric will take place. Technology exit standards at Long Lake Central will be updated according to NYS learning standards to meet the changing needs of our district, and the changing skills in our increasingly global economy. Benchmarks will be created to monitor the progress of students towards the standards. The school community evaluation will be an ongoing process through the collection of various surveys, staff-needs assessment worksheets, technology needs-assessment worksheets, and technology proficiency/levels of use worksheets.
