I graduated high school in New Paltz, NY where I participated in many band and choral activities. I was accepted at the Crane School of Music in SUNY Potsdam for the tuba as my major instrument and later changed it to the piano. My student teaching was done in Taconic Hills CSD and I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education 2001. In the summer of 2002, I was a counselor, music teacher, and accompanist at the Long Lake Fine Arts Camp. I did my graduate work also at the Crane School of Music and graduated with my Master's Degree in Music Education in 2005. During grad school, I substitute taught in Potsdam and Canton CSDs. From 2004-2005, during the completion of my thesis, I also worked at a school for teens with behavioral problems in Ogdensburg, NY. I taught band, choir, and general music from grades 3-8 in Canisteo-Greenwood CSD in the 2005-2006 school year. That brings us to the present where I come to the Long Lake CSD.
