  • Technology Education Teacher 

Long Lake Central School has an immediate opening for a full-time tenure track Technology Education Teacher. This is a full-time position and NYS certification is required.  Salary and benefits are in accordance with the LLFA contract. The start date is September 1, 2019. 

Long Lake Central School is a small public K-12 school located in the Adirondacks. The small class setting offers teachers and students a unique 1:1 learning environment. The Technology Education teacher has a diverse instructional courseload of CTE curriculum, including middle school technology, construction, energy, CADD, and others. The District has worked hard to maintain a strong program that blends the traditional industrial arts with the technologies and innovative nature of STEM education. The qualified candidate that we are seeking will continue to maintain the strength of this program, and bring in their own talents to enhance it even further. 

We are seeking someone who has the confidence and skill set to manage the vast instructional responsibilities of the position, the ability to collaborate with teachers outside of their subject area and grade levels for curriculum projects and district-wide initiatives, and a willingness to embrace the many hats that come with working in a small school setting and participating in our school community at large.

Long Lake Central School has an opening for a teacher’s aide for the 2018-2019 school year. This position includes full benefits and is part of the CSEA bargaining unit.
