Openings

  • 7-12 Grade Social Studies Teacher:

Long Lake Central School has an opening for a 7-12 grade Social Studies teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. This is a full-time position and New York State Social Studies certification is required. The start date is September 1, 2019. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the LLFA contract. 

Long Lake Central School is a small public K-12 school located in the Adirondacks. The small class setting offers teachers and students a unique 1:1 learning environment. The 7-12 grade Social Studies teacher is required to teach all grade levels in this subject area. 

We are seeking someone who has the confidence and skill set to manage the vast instructional responsibilities of the position, the ability to collaborate with teachers outside of their subject area and grade levels for curriculum projects and district-wide initiatives, and a willingness to embrace the many hats that come with working in a small school setting and participating in our school community at large.

Substitute Employment
