Science at Long Lake Central School
Mrs. Curtin teaches grades 7-12 science at LLCS. This includes middle school science (grades 7 and 8), biology, earth science, physics, chemistry, environmental science and forensics.
About Mrs. Curtin
I am an LLCS alumni and feel very fortunate that I was able to come back to live and work in the Adirondacks after receiving my bachelors and masters degrees from SUNY Potsdam. This will be my ninth year working at Long Lake Central.
Science 7-8 Information
This year seventh and eighth grade students will be studying physical science. Day to day announcements and updates will be available to students on google classroom. Parents/ guardians wishing to have guardian access to google classroom should contact Mrs. Curtin.

Living Environment Information
Living environment (biology) is a Regents level science course. Daily updates and information for students will be posted on Google Classroom. Parents/ guardians wishing to have access to Google Classroom should contact Mrs. Curtin.
Living Environment Resources
At LLCS we offer two half year courses focusing on forensic science. The first semester is "forensics" and the second semester is "advanced forensics". Students may take one course for a half of a credit for both courses for a full credit of science. It is preferred that students complete forensics prior to taking advanced forensics.
Chemistry is offered alternating years. It will be offered again in 2020-2021.
