Physical Education/Health Introduction
Hello everyone and welcome to another great school year! I am proud to be your new Physical Education and Health teacher for the 24'-25' school year! My philosophy for teaching physical education is to create an environment where students can take ownership and accountability over their actions and develop personal and social responsibility through physical activity. I want Physical Education to be an outlet where students can feel comfortable trying new things and learn from their mistakes, regardless of their interest and skill level. Physical education should not only be a place where students can develop physically, but cognitively, socially, and emotionally as well. As everyone comes into the program with different strengths, I want to use physical education to build upon the strong suits of every student to help them develop and learn further. I want students to leave health class with the understanding and knowledge to make healthy decisions throughout their current lives and into adulthood. I am very much looking forward to this year and working with all of you!
Sincerely,
Mr. Agababian
